Another method for eradicating spam on blogs can be used in conjunction with this method.  I use a captcha from botproof.com  that stops all automated comments posted by &#039;bots&#039; by including a captcha that bots cannot read (a pixelated graphic that constantly changes to confuse the bot).

When I installed this on my blog it cut me down from 8-10 spam comments per day to about 1 genuine comment every couple of days.

LOL, the problem I&#039;m having now is someone leaving comments in a foreign language on my english language blog... researching how to block his I.P. address now.</description>
