Marketleap has a very cool free analytic tools to track trends/history of a sites search engine saturation (how many pages a search engine has indexed). In order to track these you must establish a baseline and check them at least periodicly. If you want to see it in action go out to the tool and type in www.alcoholismresources.com in the “Enter your url here box” and then run the report. Now for the cool stuff don’t just look at the eye catching table, but look instead above the right hand corner of the table where it says “Click Here for Trend History Report.” Next click on the search engines to the right to see how this site has performed over time. You’ll notice that at some point it was checked whe the site was down and their were 0 pages and other times it has had all of its pages indexed, though not by all search engines.
The tracking is quite nice, now I just wish they would add a trend / history report for their search engine ranking tool which they refer to as keyword verification tool. That would be supper nifty. Of course, they’d also need to drill down a little further in the results.
