Want to punch up the seo on your blog and increase readership?Then treat your home page like a magazine cover.  I’ve seen too many blogs out there that show the full content of the most recent posts on their home pages.  This is not the way you want to treat your home page for many reasons.  It may or may not create duplicate content issues, which is the least of my concerns here.  The greater concern is that you’ll lose visitors.  Your home page should contain teasers just like the cover of a magazine.  It should make people want to look inside.  When all you show above the fold to a visitor is your most recent post their most likely action (if they’re not interested in that post) is to leave your blog.
