There are a lot of good tools at the webconfs.com tool set, but their duplicate content checker, at least as far as I am concerned, is not one of them. What this tool does is check the content of two different web pages for similar content. You enter two urls and it tells you how similar the text on those pages are. Since search engines (at least Google) penalizes you for duplicate content you might want to know this.

The thing is in my way of thinking a great or even a good tool needs to be a time saver and this just isn’t. Since you have to enter the two urls you are going to be looking at those pages, is the content the same. Then you better make some changes. Now if this tool allowed you to do 10 or 20 urls that might be a time saver. The best idea though is just to keep your content original and then you don’t need to worry.
