Cool Plugin for Changing Font Faces on the Fly
Update – Aug 18, 2008
DG pointed out that I should move my update to the top of the page on this one. I’ve done that. And, though I usually consider it bad form to go back and change posts to change the meaning, I’ve changed the post title on this one as well. I’ve left the url (far less important for how the search engines index) so anyone who may have bookmarked the post can still find it and for historical purposes.
Update – Aug 12, 2008
Please read Dan’s explanation of how this plugin actually works. I take it all back, well not the part about it being a “great design tool”
and offer my apology to Dan and Cory. Thanks to Dan for stopping by and explaining what’s going on here and where before I’d give it a sideways thumb I’d now give this plugin a thumbs up.

In it you’ll learn the secrets to speeding up your cart, how to set your title tags, how to make those invaluable xml sitemaps work and much more.
I’ve done quite a few posts lately on WordPress e-Commerce. I’ve looked for other solutions, but the truth is there’s nothing better out there at the moment and Instinct has done a lot of things right with this cart. Unfortunately, they haven’t had a lot of time to focus on optimizing it for search engines.
If you want the items in your WP e-Commerce site to show up in the search engines, you are going to need to do a little work. This post should help to improve Read the rest of this entry »
WP e-Commerce Does Instinct Need a Competitor?
Awhile back David Esrati wrote a post on the 3 available shopping cart systems for use with WordPress. It didn’t go into very much detail on any of them, giving each only a small paragraph. He ended by asking readers to give links to any others in the comments (there was only one addition). The first person to comment was Dan Milward the creator of Wp e-Commerce who suggested that there was no need for more competition. I beg to differ, and here’s why.
